About

Sydney Whittaker is a graduate of Theatre UCF’s BFA Stage Management program. During her time at UCF she has worked on a variety of events and productions. These range from a large scale production of Leonard Bernstein's MASS, which included over 300 actors, dancers, choir members, and musicians, to Orlando Shakes' Playfest, a nationally recognized new play festival which holds staged readings for multiple new works.

She loves shaping chaos into theatre by using her problem solving skills and communicating effectively with a wide variety of people. Cooperation is her favorite aspect of the job, as she loves working in collaborative environments.

She is based in Chicago, where she currently is a backstage manager at Teatro Zinzanni, a cirque style show in the heart of the Loop. She enjoys Chicago winters, embroidery, baking, and time with her cat, Artemis.
